Day 2- Working towards my Goals

Day 2- Working towards my Goals

For some, it’s to fit into a dress, others run a race, but for me, my ultimate fitness goals are to be able to lift my own body weight and complete a full lenght triathlon.

At this morning’s walk, we maintained a brisk pace for  little under an hour . A few pains here and there, but it felt soo good to be moving! Just a few more steps towards something great!

I remembered today that I have a few goals to work towards. I suppose they can help me keep focused.

Long-Term Goals

  • My absolute long-term weight is 165lbs- July 2013. (The last I checked, I was just around 230lbs);

Here we go…

Time for a change…

Time for a change…

Life is full of beauty and joy and adventure…yet I sometimes feel that I am not experiencing any of those. It often feels like an early mid-life crisis. Frequent joint pain, long hours at work, no friends to pass free time with…I’m stuck in a rut; a crippling routine that is not rewarding neither is it fulfilling (at least not any more). I barely have time to read, go sight-seeing, practice my photography, pursue something new or chill with my family. I’m stuck in a rut; a crippling routine!

I recently came across this quote by Dr. Maya Angelou and it has been on my mind for a while…

“If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude.”

It’s time for a change. This, is my journey and I’m not afraid to blog about it!
